What is LGL Littles?
LGL Littles is our new Kindergarten program that will be launched for the first time in 2025. It is an in-house clinic that does not involve official games against other teams but will look to scrimmage against other towns later in the season. The season will kickoff in mid-late March. The goal of this program is to introduce basic lacrosse skills while fostering a love for the sport. No experience is necessary!
When does the '25 season start and what are the player's commitment?
We ask players do their best to attend all practices and games throughout the season. Fielding teams for games is 100% dependent on players showing up. If Sunday games conflict with other teams/activities your player is involved in, we respectfully request you consider saving the limited team spot for another player. We understand conflicts occur every now and again but appreciate everyone doing their best to consider conflicts before signing up. '25 season game dates are listed in next section.
-
Many of our players are involved in multiple sports, so scheduling conflicts are bound to happen. Our coaches understand this, and as a recreational program, we do not penalize players with reduced game time for missing practices. However, we strongly encourage attendance at all lacrosse practices to help each player improve and enhance the team's overall performance, making the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Safety, skill, development, and team play are our primary goals, and practices are where these fundamentals are taught and reinforced for games.
-
When conflicts do arise, we ask that parents notify coaches as early as possible so that practice and game plans can be adjusted if needed. Our top priority is to ensure that every player has a positive and rewarding experience with lacrosse.
